Economic Growth

GAE has partnered up with local farmers to sell their products (coconut, cassava, palm oil, and rice) on the domestic and international markets. We plan to empower local communities in Grand Kola by building a sustainable economy through agriculture. This joint venture will help the farmers earn enough money to adequately provide for their families.

Community Development

The company utilizes local villagers as subcontractors on its farming projects. In the past year GAE has maintained more than 30 villagers on its payroll. We also plan to invest in schools, clinics and social services for the residents of Grand Kola. One of GAE’s primary goals is building serviceable roads from the villages to the leading highway to foster the flow of goods to and from the region.

Agriculture Centered

Liberia has the proper climate and suitable soil to plant and harvest coconut on a larger scale to meet the high global demand for coconut products. GAE has developed an agri-centric business concept to take advantage of this lucrative industry and provide much needed economic growth to rural Liberian communities. Our focus is using our natural means to develop Liberia.

Our Company

Gargard Agri-Export (GAE) is a registered Liberian business with its central office located at the intersection of Randall and Broad St, Monrovia, Liberia. The company grows agriculture produce and manufactures agriculture based products in the rural areas of Grand Kola, District 4, Grand Bassa County, Liberia for the domestic market and for international export.

Our Work

As of now, GAE mainly exports raw coconuts like semi husked and fresh coconuts and plans to make our processed coconut products available for export to the international markets in the near future. We ensure our products meet international market requirements to protect human and animal health, the environment and consumers’ rights. In addition, GAE’s shipments are packaged and stored in accordance with European Union (EU) shipment and market standards. Our shipping procedures also abide by EU sanitary and phytosanitary, environmental, and technical requirements.
